Please allow me this time to say “thank you.” Because had it not been for your company and the free books that you provide, I would have found myself in a very, very dark place a long time ago (mentally) here in solitary confinement. That books that you’ve provided for me over the years have been my (dare I say) “beacon of light” behind these walls and gates and tons of razor wire, regardless of if I was in solitary confinement or not.

Book Drop off and Volunteer Hours


Hours:
Tuesdays and Thursday 6:30-9:00pm,
Wednesdays 1:30-4:00 pm (vaccines required)
Saturdays: 1:00-4:00pm
(in summer 2022: only 6/4, 6/18, 6/25, 7/9, 7/23, 8/6, 8/20)

Volunteers
must sign up in advance
either just before you come or weeks in advance.

Book Drop Offs
Books can be dropped off during volunteer hours. You do not need to sign up in advance, but check the sign up page to make sure we are open.
