I was drawn into the story completely in the first 25 pages. This was a compilation of kingdoms, magic, love, all-out religious war, sorcery, loyalty. I felt for the first time how reading can cause such emotional investment in a story. I was fearful of the story ending. I felt like the characters had become my friends. That must sound crazy, but it’s how I felt. I have the complete series in my property and will never part with it. I’ve read it twice now in four years, and I’m looking forward to the next time. This story played out as a blockbuster movie in my mind while reading. I’ve read over 500 books to date. This is my all-time favorite! Thanks for letting me share this.
