I didn’t know that Jeff Shaara had a WWII trilogy—#3, “No Less Than Victory,” was superb! The fears and doubts of the foot soldier, as well as the decisions facing the world leaders, are shared in a very smooth and readable book. My uncle was a radio operator in Patton’s Corp and he was there when they liberated one of these concentration camps. The surprise and heartbreak of it were captured by Shaara.
