Beyond Belief

By Josh Hamilton

This book inspired me a lot. It is about a famous baseball player who overcame major obstacles before the height of his career. When he was drafted into the MLB, he immediately got hurt and could not play, which led to him trying drugs to ease the pain and humility. He became addicted majorly and was suspended from the MLB numerous times. Yet he overcame his addiction and became a well-known player. Which makes me believe that just because I’m in prison now, I can still do amazing things in life after release.
