Mainly, I want to express my gratitude. I have spent almost 20 years out of the last 30 years on the inside, I am ashamed to say. But these “books through bars” types of programs are a godsend for us in here. Many times, it is the difference between just giving up mentally and emotionally and making it through another day, week, or year.
