I enjoyed the book you sent me, Ray Bradbury’s “The Martian Chronicles.” Classic sci-fi from his era still stands strong in our sci-reality. The focus for Bradbury was much more on the psychology of humanity than the gadgets it will invent. This makes for a very compelling plot and challenges deep thought on human motive and emotions. What would you do if you landed on another planet, to the ruins of an alien race all but extinct. Would you value it, try to preserve and learn from what remains? Or rush to be the first hot dog stand and take advantage of your monopoly? A great read…never know what to expect next in nuclear age sci-fi.
