At night I’d enter a world of my own.
Ashamed to explain what my eyes were shown.
A separate reality, my mind had made.
Sheltered from harm, somehow unafraid.
And alternate plane, a digital realm,
With monitor, keyboard and mouse at the helm.
Poisoned by lust and selfish intentions,
My mind had been lost in another dimension.
Looking back now, it all makes me sick,
To think my offending was doing the trick.
No longer a falsehood, I’m living in fact,
Regaining control, my life taken back.
The struggle is real, not elaborate fiction.
I’m finally facing my sexual addiction.
